In the path of totality
Solar eclipse - April 8, 2024

Have questions about observing the upcoming total solar eclipse at Camp Judson on Monday, April 8?

Here’s what to know:

YES – you can watch the eclipse here.

Camp Judson is hosting a NASA Space Grant Research Team from the University of Idaho for the eclipse!
They will be launching research balloons here at camp for 24 hours before and 6 after the eclipse to study gravitational waves.

You are welcome to come that day to observe the eclipse and interact with the research team.

We will have restrooms available, but we do not have accommodations available for anyone to spend the night.

Please be aware that an estimated 100,000-250,000 people are expected to travel to Erie County for the event, so please for for significant delays – traffic is expected to be very difficult for much of the day with long lines at gas stations and long waits at restaurants.
