In addition to daily Bible studies, vesper services around the campfire, and nightly devotions, Camp Judson offers a host of activities for our summer campers including:

Swimming Pool:  In addition to being used by camp programs for swimming and water sports, the pool has daily hours for public swimming.

Outdoor Discovery: Exploring the numerous ecosystems that can be found at Judson as well as enjoying and experiencing God’s creation is an important part of Camp Judson.

Climbing Tower/Zipline: Our climbing tower stands at 45 feet with climbing setups for both beginner and advanced climbers.  For the adventurous, our 700 foot zipline starts on top.

Archery: Campers have the opportunity to learn basic skills and refine their shooting skills.

Horses: Campers have the opportunity to receive instruction in riding as well as the care of horses in horsemanship classes.  Trail rides are also available.

Sports: This elective seeks to develop both skill and sportsmanship for a variety of team sports.

Canoeing/Kayaking/Sailing: Instruction is offered in canoeing and sailing utilizing both the pond (canoeing, kayaking, and beginning sailing) as well as Lake Erie (advanced canoeing, kayaking, and sailing).

Tubing/Jet Ski: Whether riding on the back of the jet ski or being towed on a tube behind it, our waterfront staff gives campers a thrill riding the Lake Erie waves.

Crafts:  For campers who like to work with their hands, we offer the opportunity to utilize their creative talents to make a variety of crafts.

Low Ropes Course: This activity helps campers to learn how to face challenges as a team and develop leadership and problem solving skills while having a great time!

Engineering:  Campers in this elective will have build boats of cardboard and duct tape and race them on the pond in a Cardboard Boat Regatta, build rockets out of 2 liter bottles and launch them using air and water in Soda Sky Rocketing, as well as other creative construction projects that help campers to learn about the world that God has made.

In addition to all these activities, campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of other games and activities, ranging from Capture the Flag to Talent Shows, Campouts, and all sorts of Field Games.
